MESSAGE FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE
The Montclair Community Pre-K is a not-for-profit organization that relies on tuition payments for its day-to-day operation. The Pre-K also has a mission to serve all families of 4-year-old children in Montclair, regardless of ability to pay.
Financial Aid: The Business Manager organizes the financial services of the Pre-K, including confidential support for those in need of tuition assistance. Families requesting financial assistance must submit a Financial Aid application, proof of household income and a signed Financial Assistance Agreement. All tuition assistance requests must be received by the Business Manager and approved by the Executive Director. The Pre-K is aware of the sensitive nature of these financial interactions, respects the privacy of our families and takes all precautions to safeguard it at all times.
Tuition: All billing for tuition is done the month prior to receiving the service. Billing is done on the 5th of every month and tuition is due by the 15th. You may opt to have your credit card billed each month. Please sign up for this option with the Business Manager. If tuition is not received by the 25th, a $25.00 late fee is applied to the account. There will be a $1 per minute late pick-up fee added to your monthly statement if you are late to pick up your child. Please remember the school day ends promptly at 2:30pm and the extended day ends at 6:30pm.
Fundraising: The Montclair Community Pre-K relies on fundraising to help defray some of the costs of running the school. We are always looking for ideas and connections to donors or foundations that may be interested in our educational and community programs. Please let us know if you have any ideas or contacts that we might explore. Also, let us know if your employer has a matching fund for donations.
