We believe in the value of intergenerational interactions and so we have a program that brings senior citizens from various local senior centers to the school for activities and story telling with the children.  Both the seniors and the children enjoy this opportunity to develop nurturing and caring relationships. It is because of programs like these that the Montclair Community Pre-K remains a vital part of the total community.  We also have a grandparent newsletter that encourages and supports intergenerational relationships and connects grandparents to their grandchildren's classes, even from afar.
